I'm sorry it has been a while since the last post, obviously there is a lot going on and with that means I should be posting updates more often instead of less, it unfortunately doesn't work that way. Geoff started work last week, he got assigned to a "scout" unit and will be in charge of 3 Bradleys and 5 Humvees. With this assignment comes more training including a safety course this week (learning how to give an IV and such) as well as a Scout Leaders Course that is 3 weeks long back in Knox. Just when we thought we were out of there for good! We're heading up next week, so it'll be May before we can truely sink in and call this place home.
I'm keeping busy unpacking, trying to hang pictures, enjoying the convenience that comes with having a dishwasher and washing machine our new place. It was an interesting first couple of weeks here for Squiget too. I woke up with horrible back pains our first week and had Geoff take me to the hospital, turns out that I had a bladder/kidney infection that had been building up since before the move and it had triggered contractions to start! After that got finished I was started another bout with throwing up and more pain and we came to find out that I was one of the lucky ones who develope Kidney Stones during pregnancy, JOY! There is not much we can do until Squiget gets here (but we're thankful that we get to wait 3 more motnhs for that instead of having him/her in the NICU right now) but the pain is under control and I'm learning how to deal with patience~
