Geoff and I heard some terrible news today.... Ray Fleig (of Tiffany and Ray: our first Army friends in Kentucky) was hit by indirect fire while deployed. He was going tent to tent after an attack checking to make sure that people were okay when he was hit, he was doing his job but also looking out for others. He has lost his right eye and they don't know the extent to which he'll have brain damage. Tiffany is expecting their first child, a little girl due in November. This one hit really close to home, our first army friends suffering and going through so much. Please pray for Ray, that his injuries are manageable, for Tiffany that she can remain strong and for their little girl that she'll be easy on her momma and not add more stress. They are certainly in our hearts and prayers...

They will be added to the prayer wall at school and I will ask Msgn Fennessy to remember Ray at the evening Mass on Monday. Stay strong!

we will be praying for them and that he is able to come home quickly. Please keep up updated. Keep staying strong for Tiffany and I'm sure she appreciates your friendsip right now.
