(picture from about half way through)We took a day trip to Corning, NY (it took me WAY too long to make the obvious connection between the town name and Corningware) We shopped along the historic Market Street, were serenaded by a great "homeward bound" rendition over a deli lunch, saw an Ansel Adams/Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit at the museum of art, toured the museum of glass and I had my appointment to blow my own ornament. I splurged on a Peggy Karr platter in the gift store and made the trip back to Alden lake as one very content girl!
--it had to cool overnight so my masterpiece is being mailed, I'll post the finished product picture in a couple weeks--
