So, I don't know how much people know about Geoff/where hes at and all that jazz but I'll just say that he is at one, if not THE most forward operating bases in Iraq. That doesn't mean a whole lot to most people but when you see reports of Baghdad bases being mini-cities, that people have most of the comforts of home, yea, not these guys. They started with nothing, sleeping in tent, eatting MREs, they got excited a month ago when they got UPGRADED to portapotties! So I hear all of these wives who get to Skype and talk with their husbands every night and while I am so happy for them, you can't help but get a bit jealous. Well, after 6 months at this place they FINALLY have internet set up for the guys and I got to SEE Geoff! So these are his diggs. Note the James Bond poster up, as if there weren't enough action goin' on -geeze- Anyways, they are on childrens bunk beds and I'd love to be a fly on the wall, Geoff pokin' out on both ends, wondering if tonight is the night that the caved in bars above him will finally give way and his "upstairs" neighbor will join him in the sack!
