Tie Onesies

If you are following hand-made fashions for baby boys in the crafting blogosphere (since I know SO many of you all are) you already know that tie applique onesies are all the rage... and for those of you who don't, now you know!

While going though Grant's handmedowns I came across all of his little-bitty onesies that we got in newborn sizes when we didn't know that he was a he. Well know that we know that baby number two is almost here and that he is in fact a he, the thought of putting him in yellow and green just seemed a bit strange so I gathered some fabric scraps (thanks to mom's quilt stash) and added some ties to them thanks to these tutorials:
