Katie and Jim were nice enough to hook Brian and I up with tickets to the Ravens game verses Washington Sunday. It was great to hang out with Katie and meet her other family. It was cold but awesome! A few highlights included lucky parking spots, the most crowded bar I’ve ever seen, a waitress who miraculously could weave and bob without spilling a sip, Captain Jim at the coin toss, running man hand warmers, grooving to 80s songs with Katie, laughing a Brian’s generous neighbors, the drunker slander all around us, Jim being ON FIRE and in the middle of awesome plays and best thing EVER: Hot Chocolate with Baileys!
I have to admit though, the most entertaining moment did not happen on the field (sorry Jim), both at the bar and at the stadium Brian Katie and I were discussing how best to explain how we are all related to each other. For example Brian said that its kind of hard to explain to friends that Jim is his sister's husband's cousin's husband. Katie admitted that she'd been calling Brian her "Godhusband" since they are Grant's Godparents! I laughed so hard I almost cried.

I can't believe you outed me in front of everyone... okay, I guess I feel better now that everyone knows! It was so much fun to have the two of you come and visit for the game!
Actually, it's brother-in-law's cousin-in-law, haha. What a great time.
